Welcome to our Nursery

Starting in our Nursery is the beginning of an exciting journey through Warren Mead Infant & Junior School! Our Nursery opened in September 2019, following an increasing demand from existing parents and our local community and offers funded places to children from the age of 2 years old.  

From the moment your child joins us our Nursery team invest all their time and energy in helping them settle in well, develop their interests, make friends, learn lots of new and exciting things and come out each day with a smile!  The foundations we build in Nursery are crucial to each child developing a love of learning and being ready to start in Reception.

We provide a safe and secure setting in which children have access to a vibrant and stimulating indoor and outdoor area. We encourage children to develop their skills and independence through play-based learning. 

Our Nursery is a key part of our school and is overseen by our Early Years Lead, Miss Ormsby. Miss Briley is our Nursery Leader and looks after the nursery team. Full details of the staff team are here. 

Our Nursery is open term time, and the Nursery start and finish times support the school day as many of our parents have siblings in both nursery and the main school.
