GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Lower School

Welcome to Warren Mead Lower School

Warren Meads provision is committed to giving our children the best possible start to their school life to ensure that they become resilient, aspirational learners and considerate individuals who are proud of themselves every day.

Lower School consists of  2 classes in Year 1, 2 and 3. 

Miss Cudd is the Lower School Leader and oversees this phase. For a staffing list, please go to the staffing page.

In the lower school, the children’s curriculum is made up of some discrete subjects that are taught daily; English and Maths, some discrete subjects that are taught weekly; RE, Music, PE and PHSE and then some subjects take a interdisciplinary approach where logical and meaningful connections between the different subjects are made; Art, DT, History, Geography and Science.
