Meet The Team
Miss Charlotte Briley
My Journey supporting, teaching and providing positive experiences for children began over 20 years ago and I can honestly say, I still absolutely love it! My career firstly began in a private day nursery, caring and educating our very youngest generation. Throughout my journey, as the children gained more knowledge, I gained more experience and decided to train as an early year’s teacher. Teaching is honestly the most rewarding job and I enjoy every moment. Helping our youngest generation, learn and challenge themselves, helping them to achieve and succeed.
In my own time, I’m a very lucky mummy to two wonderful children, who like to keep me busy, playing table tennis and reading books. I also love to cook, we most recently experimented with making surprise pizza’s that contained crisps as a topping, it was surprisingly delicious!
As a passionate teacher, I look forward to meeting every new child and family, and whilst working together, we will give your child an outstanding education.
Mrs Kat Garett
Hello, I’m Mrs. Garett, the nursery room leader here at Warren Mead. With over 20 years of experience working in various roles within childcare and education and as a mother of three children (two of whom are current pupils of WM), I understand how important these early years are in a child’s development. I began my career in childcare working for a private day nursery, moving on to working as a private nanny and then re-training to work within a health visiting team as a community nursery nurse. I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and explore. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time in nature - going on long dog walks with my English Bulldog Arlo and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I’m excited to meet you and welcome you into our lovely class to share my love for learning and creativity with your little ones!
Miss Mikki Fox
I began working at Warren Mead at the beginning of 2024. My wonderful daughter attends the school and I could see how lovely the children and staff were from a parent’s perspective.
I wanted to join the team and become a part of the Warren Mead family. This was the best career decision I have made as I adore the children I support and the team I work with. I see them growing and learning every day and it makes my heart warm. Before joining Warren Mead, I worked as a CSW for vulnerable adults for over 13 years and volunteered in special educational needs schools throughout my life. I am a bit of a ‘homebody’ so in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, family and close friends. (Sometimes throwing in the occasional brunch). I am so excited to meet every new child who joins our setting and to help them make their core memories at the start of their educational journey.
Miss Stacie Ball
I started out my childcare journey in a private nursery in 2016 after being a stay-at-home mum and was eager to gain my qualifications as a Level 3, jumping straight in the deep end working full time while also studying at home. During my time in early years, I've worked closely with all ages, from babies to preschool and in various roles ranging from nursery assistant to deputy manager, however my passion has always been working closely in the rooms with the children. When I started out in childcare, my end goal was always to eventually end up within a school setting, so I could finally bring myself some work life balance. With my daughter starting her important last few years in high school, I decided to take the plunge and feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the school. In my spare time I like to spend quality time with my family, play video games/boardgames and love spending hours with a book in my hand or at a concert.I look forward to not only welcoming the children, but the parents into the setting, believing it's important to build a strong parent partnership to help the children reach their full potential.
Miss Katie Dodsworth
I began my career in childcare straight out of school, diving straight into a private nursery setting where I took on the challenging yet rewarding task of caring for babies aged 6 months to 1 year. It was during this time I discovered my love for working with and nurturing children. Eager to advance my skills I then went on to complete my Level 3 qualification, which opened the door to becoming a room leader for children aged 2-3, a role where I demonstrated my dedication, leadership, and passion for supporting child development during such a critical stage of their lives. In my own time, I'm a busy but very lucky mummy to Twins who continue to keep me on my toes. I enjoy every minute of family time doing fun activities and spending any spare time in the New Forest at our family caravan!
I look forward to welcoming your children into class and making their Journey fun and memorable!
