Year 2 Science Circuits

This half-term, Year 2 are learning all about electricity in Science.  The children have been enjoying making circuits using bulbs, buzzers and motors.  This week they investigated conductors and insulators by testing different materials.  First, using their knowledge of the properties of materials, the children made predictions.  Lottie said, "I predict that the paper clip will conduct electricity because it is made of metal".  We then built circuits to test our predictions, and the children were very excited to check whether they were correct!
